Odessa is one of the most beautiful and interesting cities of Ukraine. This
is a Black Sea port city home to around one million people. It Was an important
commercial center in the s. XIX, Where I Lived Ukrainians, Russians, Greeks,
Jews, Poles, French, Germaine, Romania and Italian.
The city hosted the events That inspired one of the Biggest movies of all time:
The Battleship Potemkin. One of the Biggest attractions in Odessa is the
stairway of 142 meters Where It Happens most famous scene from the film, the
tsarist Troops massacring population (Historically dubious facts, Incidentally).
These steps are Known today as the 'ladder Potemkin. "
The main street has a name seemingly Deribasovskaya Slavonic. The street is
named in honor of Admiral Joseph Deribas Mikhailovich, Whose Was the original
name José de Ribas, son of the Spanish consul in Naples and meat as a young man
in the service of Czar's army.
